This 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super is a Biscione example that was delivered new in Germany, where it was placed into long-term storage beginning in the late 1970s through the current owner’s acquisition as a project in 2015.
Subsequent refurbishment work performed by the owner’s shop, Alfina Corse of Schauenstein, Germany, is noted to have involved installing a modified 2.0L twin-cam inline-four with dual Dell’Orto carburetors, high-lift camshafts, and a 123Ignition electronic distributor as well as overhauling the five-speed manual transmission and fitting a limited-slip differential. The car has been refinished in green and rides on Autoparco 15″【𝟯𝟴 𝗰𝗺】 TZ-style alloy wheels in addition to Bilstein front shocks, Koni rear shocks, and Eibach springs. Inside, replacement front seats are trimmed in gray leather and accompanied by a wood-rimmed Hellebore steering wheel along with Jaeger and VDO instrumentation. This modified Tipo 105.26 is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner in Haarlem, Netherlands, with refurbishment photos, dynamometer results, and German registration in the owner’s name.
