Coming straight from a classic Alfa enthusiast: this beautiful GTV6 with powerful engine upgrade has been in the hands of the same collector for no less than 15 years. And it sure is a collector's item! The Alfa GTV6 remains in a neat condition and offers spectacular driving pleasure. Yes, that has something to do with the 3.5 liter 6-cylinder in front... The characteristic coupe was sold to Prins together with another batch of Alfa Romeo classics. So try to plan your visit to the Netherlands as flexible as possible, in case you want to stick around for a little longer…
History The Alfa Romeo GTV6 is the 3-door Alfetta GT with a V6 engine. That makes it the combination that enthusiasts prefer to see. His design master is of course a well-known Italian: Giorgetto Giugiaro. Our silver gem had been in the hands of its former owner since 2008. Which is fully understandable, because after the upgrade from 2.5 to 3.5 liter engine capacity, the Alfa GTV6 is an even more desirable machine. We didn't know it was possible! None other than the famous Dutch Alfa specialist Sam van Lingen is responsible for the 6-cylinder boost. This way you can be sure that the modification has been perfectly executed. Exterior Only a few cars have as much character as the Alfa Romeo GTV6. The sleek coupe design is as unmistakable and iconic as a Porsche 911. The main difference is that the Italian is a lot more affordable and practical. The transition from roofline to back is extremely sharp and has the same angle as the front. The latter is also characterized by 2 double round headlights with a wide grille in between, plus a genuine 'power dome' in the hood. Furthermore, note the striking amount of glass on the sides for a unique view all around. This way you can clearly see who you’re passing at full speed... The silver-gray lacquer has a timeless style and is in excellent shape. The extra-large Ronal imitation wheels have a real cool effect, making the overall appearance perfectly balanced. Interior The Alfa GTV6 interior is mainly dark colored. The seats have a sporty design and the condition of the upholstery, leather steering wheel, dashboard and other finishes is very neat. The instrument panel is wide, angular and packed with interesting counters + meters. Really old school! The floor mats contain large Alfa Romeo logo. Sure they do, because this is a classic to be proud of! Less period-correct than the ventilation controls and toggle switches is the Kenwood MP3 player with Sony Xplod door speakers. And yet our GTV6 sounds like music to your ears...
